Falcons Rally in Overtime to Stun Panthers

Atlanta overcame Carolina 27–24 in overtime. Quarterback Desmond Ridder orchestrated the game-winning drive with poise, completing several clutch throws on third downs. Bryce Young threw for 410 yards and three touchdowns but could not produce a game-winning drive in OT.

Both teams traded leads throughout regulation, showcasing offensive firepower and defensive stops. Special teams also played a role in overtime field positioning.

Implications

The Falcons show they can win in high-pressure situations and may be a dangerous NFC contender if they continue executing late in games. Carolina’s resilience is notable, but finishing close contests remains a work in progress.
